Developed by SBB, the Sliding Ginpole revolutionized emergency towers. Using our compact portable winch (included in basic equipment), it can be used as a miniature crane to hoist tower sections or other tools without heavy equipment.

The Sliding Ginpole is connected to the SBB rail and slides along the tower. There is no need to detach it to install it at a higher level or to get around obstacles. This tool is simple and safe.

Sliding Ginpole

The Ball-Joint Ginpole is 3m/10ft or 6m/20ft long and is installed on the articulated base. It allows the rotation from horizontal to vertical up to 6 tower sections using a simple Manual grip puller with cable.

Once the tower sections are in the upright position, the tower is stabilized with the Guy Wire connected to the anchors. The installation continues with the Sliding Ginpole.

Ball-Joint Ginpole (22kg or 44kg)

SBB has developed this platform to facilitate the work for the linemen while they install the conductors.

It has a lightweight design and requires no tools to install. Only one person can easily deploy the platform and rotate it to reach the desired work point. The installation is simple, fast and efficient.

The platform can be adapted to different voltages up to 800kV. It is manufactured in 3 different lengths: 2.5m (8ft), 4.5m (15ft) and 6.5m (21ft).

Working Platform

The Fall Arrest Device is connected to the SBB rail. It allows the linemen to be attached throughout the installation of the tower without having to detach themselves to move from one section to another. With peace of mind, the linemen can execute the work more efficiently.

Other Fall Arrest Devices available on the market can only be installed when the tower is at its final height. These systems are useless for the erection of an ERS tower.

Fall Arrest Device: CE Certified

This platform allows linemen to stand comfortably on the tower and reduce muscle tension in their feet and ankles while the crew on the ground prepares the equipment to lift. They can work more efficiently and over longer periods of time.

The resting platform is light enough to be carried on a lineman's tool belt.

Resting Platform

This essential tool allows a perfect alignment of the rails when 2 tower sections are bolted. The SBB Fall Arrest Device and the Sliding Ginpole can easily slide on the rail from the bottom to the top of the tower.

Alignment Clamp

Specially developed for SBB towers, this Portable Winch is the only equipment you will need to hoist tower sections and other components.

It is available in 2 versions and includes a work table.
